The Art of Loyalty

Pet & Equine Photography by Perception Studio

Pets come in every shape, size, species, and personality — and I love photographing them all.

Dogs, cats, horses, reptiles, birds, bunnies, guinea pigs, monkeys… if you love them, I’m ready to photograph them!

Of course, dogs are the most frequent flyers in my studio, and experience is my biggest advantage. I’ve worked with hundreds of breeds and have learned how to read the subtle cues that make every animal unique. I know when to give them space, when to wait, and when to catch the perfect moment — even if it only lasts half a second.

If your pet is wiggly, nervous, overexcited, stubborn, or just doing their own thing — that’s okay. I’m patient, I’m prepared, and I know how to find the moments in between the movement.

What to Expect…

Sessions focus on capturing both personality and beauty. Select one of our fine art backdrops in studio or natural outdoor location. Rest easy - most sessions are photographed on leash or in a controlled environment. You never have to worry about your pet’s safety because it is always our number one concern.

You will receive prep instructions beforehand specific to the type of pet you have, as well as guided prompts day of to help me achieve the poses and behaviors I am looking for with your assistance. Be prepared to be an active part of your session as your pet’s trust of me is first built through you.
