Your newborn’s earliest moments are some of life’s most precious, and I approach each session with the same tenderness they deserve.

With 20 years of experience safely handling and soothing newborns, I create a calm, relaxing environment where both you and your baby can settle in and feel completely at ease. First-time parents especially appreciate the gentle guidance and reassurance throughout the session - you can truly sit back, breathe, and enjoy the moment watching me work and capture your little one, knowing safety always comes first.

The studio is thoughtfully filled with a large collection of props - handcrafted bowls and baskets, soft wraps, delicate headbands, bonnets, textured layers, and more. Everything is chosen for its beauty, quality, fit, and comfort, allowing me to create timeless, elegant setups while keeping your baby both cozy and secure. While you are welcome to bring along personal items, you are encouraged to use the items I have invested in.

What to Expect…

Before your session, we’ll talk through your home’s color palette and nursery style to ensure your images blend beautifully with your space. Whether your décor is soft and neutral, warm and earthy, or filled with delicate pastels, I tailor setups to complement your home so your wall art feels intentional and perfectly placed within it.

During the session, I use flow posing to maximize variety while keeping your baby’s movements minimal. This creates a smooth, peaceful rhythm - allowing your little one to stay settled while we capture a wide range of looks, angles, and tiny details without constant repositioning that can stress out baby.

And when it’s time to preserve your images, you’ll have plenty of quality products to select from. Handcrafted albums are an heirloom keepsake that brings all your favorite portraits together in one beautifully curated place. Albums allow you to experience your baby’s story page by page, while wall art brings those moments to life in your home every day, and digitals allow you to share your new love with the world. And I also know how much grandparents love to brag on their grandbabies - we have a special book for just that, too.

Ready to hang wall art, gift prints, albums, and digitals are available to purchase upon receiving your gallery.

  • Your session experience only covers the time & talent it takes to produce your art, no prints are included.

  • The Short & Sweet Experience is designed for baby only. This abbreviated session is often photographed with wrapped baby and one set - accessories are changed for variety, but not the wrap or backdrop.

  • The Classic Session includes three sets for baby + family poses (if desired). It is perfect for doing one timeless neutral set, a themed or seasonal set, plus a color centered set!

  • Maternity sessions may be added on to your newborn package.

FAQS

  • Your session experience fee is due at the time of booking. Nothing else is due until your order is placed.

  • I suggest booking the session as soon as you know you would like me to be your photographer. I only take on a set amount of newborns each month. All you do is pay the session experience fee up front, and then contact me to schedule once your baby arrives or your c-section date is scheduled.

  • Newborns are true newborns up until about 15 days of age. The goal is always to aim for around 6-14 days when possible.

  • Contact me ASAP to see if any openings are available. I get lots of inquiries when baby is already 3+ weeks old. While this is outside of the ideal window for those cute, curled up poses, it doesn’t mean you should skip out on a session!

  • I understand that life can be unpredictable - unforeseen circumstances can arise that prevent your session from taking place for many reasons when a newborn is involved.

    If health issues prevent the session entirely, you’re welcome to use your deposit toward a future session within one year.

  • Sessions can be done in the studio only. I do not do delivery, Fresh 48, or in-home newborn sessions.

  • Short & Sweet sessions generally last 45 minutes, while Classic sessions can run two hours, give or take depending on cooperation.

  • You have enough on your plate, and I’m happy to extend my time to accommodate multiple babies during the Classic Session without an upcharge.

  • This varies by session and cooperation. On average, 20-30 images are delivered for a Short & Sweet Sessions and 50+ for Classic Sessions.

  • Gallery delivery typically takes 2-3 weeks, with a little bit of grace needed if you schedule during busy season (October-December).

  • I take a lot of pride in my editing process. Every single photo is reviewed and edited by hand - no batching, no AI shortcuts. Standard edits include color toning and skin retouching, but my goal is to deliver a strong, cohesive set of images. So if that means doing multiple head swaps for siblings to make the magic or removing dry, flaky skin, I’m happy to do it - at no extra cost.

  • Yes! I offer physical gift cards in any dollar amount. Even if you can’t afford to gift a full session, you can gift a portion that can be applied to either the session experience fee or product purchase.
