Would you prefer simple snapshots, or are you looking for true artistry? A professional photographer delivers an exceptional experience that goes beyond the ordinary. They come equipped with state-of-the-art gear and offer premium products, ensuring that every photo is a masterpiece. Their advanced editing skills elevate the imagery to a level that far surpasses anything achievable with a smartphone or by novice photographers.
In addition to their technical expertise, professional photographers possess a keen understanding of lighting and composition. They know how to effectively illuminate your subjects and pose them in ways that enhance their natural beauty, resulting in flattering, captivating portraits. Ultimately, investing in a professional means choosing a seamless, enjoyable experience that captures moments with artistic flair, rather than simply documenting them.

We understand that life can be unpredictable—kids get sick, and unforeseen circumstances arise. To accommodate these situations, you can change your session date one time without any additional charge.
Should it be necessary to reschedule for a second time, a $75 cancellation fee will be applied to rebook a new time. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

The timing can vary depending on the type of session. I’m happy to walk you through how much time to set aside, but I recommend choosing a day when you won’t feel rushed—this helps you fully enjoy the experience from start to finish.

The Photo Premiere is our scheduled virtual call for you to view your images together with me and place your order. The most technology friendly way is to just schedule a traditional phone call, but we can also do a zoom call if you’re familiar with the platform. Whichever is easiest for you, works for me! We can discuss the options further in depth and determine which is right for you.

Products are offered a la carte, so it is really up to you! Most clients budget around $800-$2000, but you can certainly spend more or less depending on your needs. The session creation fee is $150, which does not include products. Product options start at $200.

Travel within 20 miles of zip codes 44677 or 44643 is included with your session creation fee. Areas outside of this travel range will be assessed a nominal travel fee to cover additional gas and travel time ($2 per mile). For areas outside of Ohio, please ask for a quote.

I like to think of choosing a location as a collaborative process. If you’re not sure where to start, I have galleries I can share to help you get a feel for different styles and settings. I regularly shoot throughout the Cleveland to Columbus area, with most sessions taking place around Canton, Wooster, or Akron. If a pet will be included, not all locations are animal friendly, so that needs to be considered.
-
For outdoor photos, yes. I am not a lifestyle photographer, and feel inside photos are best left to the studio where I can control the setup, but under special circumstances, I will make exceptions (especially for shy pets that may not be able to leave the home).
-
If you decide to change locations after booking, a reschedule may be necessary. I plan sessions based on travel time and location specifics for each client, which can vary significantly depending on each client’s needs. If I am able to accommodate the change, I will, but nothing other than the agreed upon location is guaranteed.

Photo Premieres are typically scheduled for 2-4 weeks after your session depending on time of the year and scope of the project. I want to present with fully edited images that match my artistic vision before asking you to make selections. If you need images sooner, you may be required to pay a rush fee. Additionally, product orders usually take an additional 1-2 weeks to receive, but are sent directly to your home.

I always call it “Not Your Average Photo Editing”. The images you see on my website look the way they do for a reason—because every detail is crafted with care. My editing process is meticulous and entirely hands-on. From color refinement and artistic dodging and burning to skin retouching, head swaps, and object removal—if it enhances the image, I make it happen. Nothing is left to automation or batch processing. Every final portrait is a result of thoughtful, intentional artistry.
-
Absolutely! Just tell me about the scope of what you have in mind.

A wardrobe change refers to swapping one article of clothing for a different one. For instance, changing from one blouse to another qualifies as an outfit change. However, simply adding or removing a layer—like taking off a blazer while keeping the same blouse and jeans—does not. Minor adjustments don’t count; a full swap does.

If it shares the same general name or address and is within a 5-minute walk, it’s considered one location—regardless of how many spots we shoot at within that area. For example, downtown Wooster is one location because everything is easily walkable. In contrast, downtown Cleveland would be considered multiple locations due to the distance between key spots. If we need to drive to get there, it counts as a separate location.
