12 Christmas Gifts for the Camera Enthusiast in your Life

No matter if you’re shopping for someone who just likes to take photos for fun or a full time professional, these camera themed gifts are sure to be a hit this holiday season with the camera lover you gift them to. I personally have used all of these, and they are some of my favorite products I can’t live without.

  1. Cotton Carrier Sling Belt

This is my go to, must have. If you’re not a fan of traditional straps like myself, check this out. Especially if you have a heavy camera, this takes the weight off your neck, shoulders, and back and puts it where you won’t even notice it is there. I also like that my camera isn’t just swinging around. Retails for $99. You can add optional things like a carry pouch, second camera holster, etc.

2. Camera Mug

Because who doesn’t love a lens shaped mug? I don’t care if I have ten of these, they’re just that great. And this particular listing on Amazon includes a keychain, too. Retails $15.

3. Custom Camera Strap

These are pretty cool and they’re leather with metal clips instead of end straps (which any camera carrier will feel much more secure about carrying). Personalize it with a business name or personal name - either way, it is pretty awesome! Retails $38.

4. Desk Organizer

If someone likes cameras and it is camera shaped, they’re going to like it, and this is no exception. This little desk organizer is perfection! Retails $28.

5. Electronic Organizer

This tech organizer is a personal favorite. I love that I can organize all my chargers, cords, and spare batteries in one spot. I have such a hard time keeping track of these things, and this makes it so easy. Oh yeah, and it is waterproof! Retails $35-$50 depending on size selection.

6. Multi Charger Cord

This is my favorite little find this year - camera person or not, having one of these around is so helpful. It has 3 different ends to fit devices so you always have the charger cord you need all in one spot. I keep these in my handy little electronic organizer above. Retails $7 for a 2 pack.

7. Tenba Cinelux Bag

I get it, camera bags are super personal depending on your preferences. As someone who has gone through a lot of them in pursuit of perfection, I have to say I really love this one. This bag offers serious protection with its aluminum reinforced frame. I have the smallest 16” version, and I can cram everything I need in here - 2 cameras with attached lenses, an extra lens, flash, cleaning equipment, card holders, etc. Due to the doctor bag design, this thing holds a lot, and it never takes up more space than it is sitting in (most bags, when open, have a large flap that you have to hold or set open. The easy open top also allows for quick access - no zipping and unzipping, and I can carry the bag open or closed. It may not be the prettiest, but it isn’t ugly either. And the heavily padded strap is perfection for carrying heavy equipment on your shoulder without pain. I love it so much, it gets two photos. Retails $175 (16” size).

8. Peak Design Sling Bag

Maybe you need a more everyday bag or a bag for less equipment - I love this sling bag design. It is so comfortable to wear, so if you are someone who likes to walk around with a camera at all times, this one is for you. Retails $90+ depending on size.

9. Coldest Water Bottle

This goes with me everywhere. By far my favorite water bottle. You can get different sizes - this link is for the 21 oz. (perfect for a regular water bottle with added ice). I also have the 32 oz. I carry for weddings and mini session days. And it comes in so many beautiful color options!!! Retails around $32.

10. Ruggard Card Case

This waterproof case holds 12 SD cards (other card type configurations are available), and clips onto everything (like your bag or belt loops). Retails $15.

11. Photo Mechanic

This is a photo sorting program I can not live without….it literally cuts sorting time in half. You can also mark favorites, rename photos, and organize file folders. If you want to gift someone the gift of time, purchase this for them because it will save them so much!

12. Running Gloves

Lightweight with silicone grip, these gloves still keep your hands toasty warm outside shooting on cold days, but allow you to feel your camera buttons, change settings, and hold your camera without making it tougher. Retails $15.
